General terms of sale
These general terms of sale and use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Zoolinko platform (website, web and mobile apps). By creating an account you accept them in full.
1. Provider identity
Zoolinko is published and operated by Pixdoo, Rue de Boussoit 4, 7110 Maurage (Belgium), VAT BE 0501.396.990 ("the Provider"). Contact: contact form on zoolinko.com.
2. Purpose
Zoolinko provides a digital identification and health-record service for animals: an animal record with a unique identifier (ZID), a record shared with authorised veterinarians, reminders, dual-consent guardianship transfers, a directory of labelled practices and temporary emergency access.
3. Pricing
During the launch phase the service is free for guardians and veterinary practices alike. Future paid plans for practices will be offered under a separate written contract; no paid service will ever be activated without your express agreement and a clear indication of the price including taxes (art. VI.2 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law).
4. Account and registration
Registration is restricted to adults. You undertake to provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. Veterinary accounts are verified (Order number) before the Zoolinko Label is activated.
5. Formation of the contract
The contract is formed when the account is created, after acceptance of these Terms. In accordance with article XII.7 of the Code of Economic Law, the ordering process, available languages (French, Dutch, English) and technical steps are indicated before validation.
6. Right of withdrawal
In accordance with articles VI.47 et seq. of the Code of Economic Law, consumers have fourteen days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving reasons. For digital content supplied immediately, this right lapses where the consumer has expressly consented to immediate performance and acknowledged losing the right (art. VI.53, 13°). As the service is currently free, withdrawal is exercised simply by deleting your account.
7. Term and termination
The contract is concluded for an indefinite term. You may delete your account at any time from the settings. The Provider may suspend or terminate an account in the event of serious breach of these Terms (impersonation, fraud, security compromise), with a reasoned notification.
8. Service availability
The Provider uses reasonable means to ensure continuous availability without guaranteeing the absence of interruptions (maintenance, force majeure). Health data remains exportable by the guardian at all times.
9. Liability
Zoolinko is an information and sharing tool: it is neither a veterinary consultation, nor a medical device, nor an official identification registry. Information entered remains the responsibility of its authors (guardians and practices). The Provider's liability is limited to foreseeable direct damage, within the limits allowed by articles VI.83 et seq. of the Code of Economic Law.
10. Legal guarantee
For consumers, digital services and content benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity provided by the Belgian Civil Code (act of 20 March 2022 on guarantees for digital content and services).
11. Intellectual property
The Zoolinko brand, the "Paw-Link" logo, interfaces, texts and illustrations are protected. You retain full ownership of the data and photos you upload; you grant the Provider a limited licence strictly necessary to supply the service.
12. Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Belgian act of 30 July 2018.
13. Applicable law and disputes
These Terms are governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute an amicable solution will be sought first: Consumer Mediation Service (mediationconsommateur.be) or the European online dispute resolution platform (ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr). Failing that, the courts of the judicial district of Hainaut have jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
